On behalf of our client leader in the “Buy Now Pay Later “field, we are recruiting the following profile:


TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER / MENDRISIO

Responsible to react to technical incidents and provide technical support to the customer-care operators, account managers and risk team


Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Monitor incidents reported by monitoring tools
  • Make a preliminary analysis to understand what the cause of the reported problem might be
  • Contribute in the definition and creation of quality checks
  • Manage technical emergencies
  • Be a point of escalation for other specialists (e.g. software engineer, system administrator, etc)
  • Provide data from which business teams (e.g. risk team, account managers) can take decisions
  • Prepare business reports
  • Document manual procedures

Requirements:
  • Patience, curiosity and ability to work under stress
  • Good knowledge of SQL
  • Knowledge of GNU/Linux environment (e.g. bash scripting)
  • Be a good team player
  • Understanding of source code (e.g. Java)
  • Pro-activity in automating manual processes
  • Fluency in English


Nice to have:
  • Experience in bug fixing and coding
  • Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing problems
  • Knowledge of German
